Habousi remembered
The documents below are recollections of Habousi by its surviving inhabitants extracted from a book that was first published in Armenian in 1963 as "History of the Village of Habousi". During Henry Manoogian's tenure as President of the Compatriotic Union of Habousi, the book was embellished and translated into English by Dr. Vatche Ghazarian, who published the work as "A Village Remembered" (Mayreni Publishing, 1997). Dr Ghazarian graciously allowed the excerpts to be included in this website.
